One of the biggest things just announced yesterday was the final chapter to the Batman: Arkham series titled Bathman: Arkham Knight. I've heard nothing but great reviews from this series so I will definitely have to check it out. I'll probably watching "Let's Plays" on YouTube until I can play it myself. It was on Steam sale this past winter but I had already bought a ton a games, so hopefully it'll be on sale again.
Other news was that Ann Hennig, who wrote the Uncharted and Jak + Daxter series left Naughty Dog (allegedly not of her own accord). It'll be interesting to see the fallout if any from this as ND is in the middle of production on the 4th Uncharted. Maybe the head of ND wanted to try giving their own spin to this series since they;ve have immense success with The Last of Us.
Other games that dropped yesterday were "The Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 2" and "South Park: The Stick of Truth". I'm behind on playing TWD (only finished part of ep 1) since I get scared easily and psych myself out. I'll definitely try to work on more of it so I can catch up. As ridiculous as South Park seem, it's pretty entertaining from what I've heard and seen. I may even try to start my own game this weekend. But we'll see.
What I'm playing: I just started playing Bravely Default for the Nintendo 3DS and from the short time I did play (I was distracted watching Pokemon on Netflix), I was very impressed by the use of 3D in this game. I've never played a JRPG (Japanese Role-Playing Game) before so it will be a new experience for me. I've heard really great reviews so I can't wait to get more time into this. So far I won my first battle not knowing how to do anything, but the controls seem pretty straightforward with their use. All of have of the story so far is that I'm playing as Tir who just woke up in a town and discovering that his home was destroyed. It'll be cool to see how it progresses and all of the skills I learn how to do
Also since Game of Thrones is coming back on TV, I'll probably start playing my GOT Crusader Kings Mod again. I definitely recommend this mod to help get you familiar with characters from this mythos, past and present.
